2022 Veterans Day Travel and Recreation Discounts:
The following is a list of Veterans Day discounts offered for travel and recreation in 2022.
9/11 Memorial and Museum -- The military and veteran community, including U.S. active and retired military, U.S. military veterans, and Blue & Gold Star Families, receive complimentary admission November 9 through 13. Advance reservations are encouraged.
Akron Zoo -- Veterans, past and current, receive free admission with valid military ID, and immediate family members receive 50% off admission, November 9 through 13. To receive a Veterans Appreciation Days discount, go to the ticket counter to purchase tickets.
Aquarium of the Pacific -- Veterans and active-duty military personnel get free admission on November 11.
Arizona State Parks -- Veterans, active-duty military, and National Guard get free entrance on November 11.
Army Corp of Engineers Recreation Areas -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will waive day use fees at its recreation areas nationwide November 11.
B&Bs for Vets -- Hundreds of inns and B&Bs will honor active-duty military and veterans for Veterans Day with free stays. Most of the inns are offering one free room night on November 10 or 11, but offers may vary.
Birmingham Zoo -- Veterans, active-duty military and their dependents (up to six total) get free admission November 11 through 13.
Caesars Entertainment -- Veterans and active-duty military get 40% off room rates when reserving your stay from November 7 through 13 for travel through 2023.
Central Station Hotel -- On November 10 through 14, current and former military receive a 30% discount when booking a stay through April 9, 2023. Select blackout dates apply.
Cincinnati Zoo -- All members of the military will receive free admission on November 11. The offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six half-price admission tickets for members of their immediate family.
Colonial Williamsburg -- For the entire Veterans Day Weekend, November 11 through 13, active-duty military, Reservists, retirees, veterans, National Guardsmen and their immediate dependents get free admission.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium -- Military personnel, both past and present, can enjoy half-priced admission on November 11 with military ID or proof of service.
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum -- On November 11, veterans and active-duty military members are invited to visit the Museum alongside up to three guests, free.
Crunch Fitness -- Veterans, active-duty military, and their families can work out for free from November 7 through 13. They also get an additional discounted offer that includes $0 enrollment and $3 off standard recurring dues on Peak Results.
Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) -- Veterans and military personnel get free rides on November 11.
Durham Museum -- Veterans and their families get free admission on November 11. Veterans can also enjoy a free hot dog meal at the Soda Fountain.
Gilroy Gardens -- Active-duty and retired military with valid ID get free admission November 11 through 13. Military family and friends get 50% off park admission (up to 6 guests only). These tickets are available at the Front Gate only and cannot be purchased online.
Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden -- Veterans get free admission on November 11.
Hagley Museum and Library -- Current military members, veterans, and their families get free admission on November 11.
Jefferson Lines -- Veterans and active military members get free tickets anytime between November 1 through 11. Free tickets are available for travel departing on November 11 through November 23 for both one-way and round-trip tickets. Veterans and active military members with roundtrip tickets are welcome to return at a later date anytime through December 31, 2022.
Killington Resort -- Active-duty, retired and honorably discharged members of the military receive a free lift ticket on November 11.
Knott's Berry Farm -- Active-duty military and veterans receive discounted admission for themselves and up to five guests from November 1 through November 17 and November 28 through December 15. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Knott’s Berry Farm ticket booths.
La Quinta by Wyndham -- Eligible military members enjoy 12% off their Best Available Rate at participating La Quinta by Wyndham hotels. Plus, Wyndham Rewards members receive 1,000 bonus points for qualified stays booked by December 11 and completed by December 12, 2022.
Lindblad Expeditions -- Veterans and active-duty service members get a 20% discount on eight itineraries that feature moments of military significance across three destinations including The South Pacific, Europe and Japan. This offer is available on select 2022 and 2023 departures for new bookings made November 1 through 30. This offer is subject to availability, not applicable on extensions and may not be combined with other offers.
Main Event -- On November 11, active and retired military receive a classic double cheeseburger and 30 minutes of game play at zero cost by showing their military ID.
Montgomery Zoo -- Veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their dependent family members receive a 50% discount on regular daytime admission to the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum, November 6 through 12.
Monticello -- Veterans get complimentary admission November 11 through 13.
Montpelier -- Veterans and active-duty service members get a free "Highlights of Montpelier" tour and Museum Shop discount on November 11.
Mount Vernon -- All active-duty, former, or retired military personnel are admitted for free on November 11.
Museum of the Bible -- Active-duty service members and veterans, and their spouses and children receive free admission from November 11 through 18. Present your military or veteran ID cards at Ticketing.
Nashville Zoo -- Active-duty military personnel, veterans and their immediate families receive free admission on November 13. Advance reservations are not required.
National Parks -- On November 11, veterans will get free admission to all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee.
National WWI Museum and Memorial -- Admission is free for veterans and active-duty military personnel, November 11 through 13.
Natural History Museum of Utah -- Former members of the military, plus one additional guest each, receive free admission November 11 through 13.
NEW Zoo & Adventure Park -- Veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their immediate families get free zoo admission on November 11.
North Carolina Zoo -- Military personnel, veterans and one accompanying guest get free admission November 7 through 13.
NY Waterway -- Active-duty military and veterans ride the ferry for free on November 11.
Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden -- Active-duty, retired and veteran members of the military, National Guard and Reserves get free general admission for themselves and 50% off general admission for up to four immediate family members.
Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium -- On November 11 through 13, veterans get free admission, and their families get half-off general admission. This offer is valid at the Zoo admission window and not valid on online purchases.
Pro Football Hall of Fame -- Veterans plus one guest get free admission and parking to the Veterans Day Event & Expo on November 11. A 20% off discount in the Hall of Fame Store will also be offered.
Red Roof -- Military members and veterans get 15% off bookings and stays from November 1 through December 30 with code: VP 623095, at participating locations.
San Antonio Zoo -- Active-duty, retired, veteran members of the military, National Guard and Reserves get free admission throughout November. Plus, up to four immediate family members can receive 50% off single day tickets on date of visit.
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom -- Veterans and active-duty military personnel receive free park admission, free parking, free meal voucher and drink bottle, free Americana lanyard and button, 15% retail discount November 11 through 13 with valid military ID. Family members receive $19.99 park admission (up to four in group).
St. Louis Wheel -- Veterans and active-duty military ride for free on November 11.
Super 8 by Wyndham -- Active and retired military members, veterans and their families can enjoy 15% off the Best Available Rate at participating Super 8 by Wyndham hotels. Plus, Wyndham Rewards members receive 1,000 bonus points for qualified stays booked by December 11 and completed by December 12, 2022.
True REST Float Spa -- Active-duty military members and veterans get a free 60-minute float therapy session on the 11th of every month, including November 11. All spa locations will close on Veterans Day to the public to serve service members.
Westgate Resorts -- Westgate Resorts is celebrating its 11th annual Military Weekend celebration, in which 1,000 active-duty U.S. military members, veterans, and Gold Star families will be honored with a free three-day, two-night vacation in Orlando December 9 through 11. Registration opens on November 11 at 9 a.m. exclusively on the Westgate Resorts Mobile App.
Winchester Mystery House -- Veterans and their family members get 30% off for Winchester Mystery House Daily Estate Tour Tickets, November 11 through December 31. Must buy at box office and show valid Military ID.
World of Coca-Cola -- Military members (active duty, reserves and retirees) can enjoy a visit free of charge year-round, and from November 4 through 13, they can also purchase up to 4 general admissions tickets for 50% off for their friends and family. Advanced purchase online necessary.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts -- Eligible military members get savings of up to 15% off Best Available Rate at participating hotels. Plus, for a limited time, Wyndham Rewards members receive 1,000 bonus points for qualified stays booked by December 11 and completed by December 12, 2022.
