This weekend Saturday July 30th and Sunday July 31st , 8:30 – 4:30 is the Travis AFB Air Expo and Open House (FREE ADMISSION).  The VA Northern California Health Care System along with Veterans Benefits Administration, Vet Centers and The National Cemetery Administration will be providing outreach to Veterans with the support of the VA Mobile Vet Center and VA Mobile Clinic.

Retreats are non-denominational, free and open to all vets

who have served since 2001, or in the Persian Gulf.

You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to this event. 

We will do our best to coordinate rides for those who need them.

 

Lee Klinger Lesser, M.S. is co-founder of Honoring the Path of the Warrior, offering one day and overnight events for Veterans. She has led workshops in Sensory Awareness, a mind/body discipline, for over 35 years in English and in Spanish. She has studied with Jim Gordon and the Center for Body-Mind Medicine based on their work of healing with people who have suffered from trauma in war zones around the world.

Chris Fortin, M.A. MFT, is co-founder of Honoring the Path of the Warrior, and is a Zen Buddhist priest and psychotherapist in private practice. She began practice at San Francisco Zen Center in 1976 and now practices as a leader in the Everyday Zen community.  She has 30 years of experience in helping to heal the wounds and trauma of body, mind, and spirit.
